FOR THE OCEAN | JULY 19
Together with sustainable fashion brands Anian and ecologyst, we came together in the Fort Commons courtyard to honour the Ocean, celebrate local designers, + connect with our community. The evening included a runway show highlighting locally designed and sustainably produced fashion, hosted by our amazing new friends Jenny + Pol from 91.3 the Zone. Plus some fun Ocean themed outfits with gear from Frank Whites Dive Shop. We had local musicians An & Ben playing us into the evening as guests arrived to enjoy carefully crafted nibbles by our Fort Commons neighbour Fishook. We were joined by Hoyne Brewing Co. and Church & State Winery, who made sure attendees had plenty in their glasses to cheers all evening. The team from The Green Kiss made sure we were all looking our best with their Lipstick Lounge. VIP Sponsors Bilston Creek Farm drove up in their vintage truck full of lavender to showcase their sustainable farming skills and generously share their essential oils. We were even able to get a few team members from the Marine Education and Research Society, our benefitting charity, to speak about their work in Ocean conservation. It was a beautiful night of connection, collaboration, + fun for a good cause. Thank you to everyone who attended and those who gave their time to be a part of the evening. We hope to see everyone again for the next event!
